Calling All Brides…

This may just be what all you past brides have been waiting for - the opportunity to wear your wedding dress one more time at a Charity Ball in the Villa Rose Hotel in aid of Donegal breast cancer care.

The date for the 2013 event is yet to be confirmed. It is an opportunity to wear what is possibly the most expensive dress you have ever owned one more time whilst supporting Donegal Action Cancer Care and the breast unit at Letterkenny General Hospital. If you don’t have a Wedding Dress feel free to wear a bridesmaids dress, evening gown or Mother of the bride outfit… anything goes.

We do hope you will be escorted by your husbands (who need not wear full wedding attire), however if its just not their thing then why not make it a Ladies Night Out with your bridesmaids and closest friends, an opportunity to get all dressed up and relive one of the best parts about your wedding day….your wedding dress. Tickets are €39 each; this includes a champagne reception 4-course gourmet meal and Dancing to one of Donegal’s liveliest wedding bands followed by DJ. Can you attend even if you didn't get married in the Villa Rose?
Yes, this event is opened to all brides no matter when or where they got married!

Do I have to wear my wedding dress?
No, feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, if it's not possible to wear a wedding dress, feel free to wear an evening dress or bridesmaids dress!

Do I have to bring my husband?
Not at all, there are many couples already attending but there are also quite a few groups made up of brides, bridemaids, bridal party members, friends and mother of the bride/groom.

Does my husband have to wear his full wedding attire?
Not at all, there is no need to go to the expense of hiring full wedding attire again, men can simply wear a suit that they already own. 

Do I have to buy tickets or can I pay at the door?
We advise all who are thinking of attending to buy tickets so that we can layout the seating plan accordingly.  If you want to reserve them today please call 074-9132266 and you can pay by laser or credit card and then collect the tickets on the night.
